LEGO® ACTIVITIES FOR TRAINING INCLUDES

The deck includes:

  • FAQs
  • LEGO brick suggestions
  • Icebreakers and Introductions - 7 activities
  • Communication Skills - 7 activities
  • Team Dynamics - 7 activities

COLLECTING THE RIGHT LEGO BRICKS

The deck DOES NOT INCLUDE Lego building materials. However, LEGO bricks are readily available new (at toy stores) and used (ebay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, etc.) While you can use any LEGO bricks for these activities, you may want to consider the following:

  • LEGO® Explorer Bags & LEGO® Serious Play Starter Kits: These sets work well if you want everyone in the team to have the same selection of bricks. They’re also ideal in exercises requiring players to duplicate another team’s model.
  • More isn’t always better: A smaller selection of bricks can be helpful with storytelling and metaphors.
  • Base plates: Extra base plates help when asking people to create a scene or move about the room to share their creations with others.
  • Mini-figures and Special bricks: Pieces such as eyes, flags, and wheels etc., help create a variety of scenes. Mini Figures are useful for expressing interactions between people.
  • Keepers: Allowing learners to keep their LEGO® model can help with memory and retention, as well as spreading the word about your LEGO®-based training.
