The item looks nice. The pegs do not come off, you have to slide the document between the glass and the wood base. It simply can't be done. We tried all sorts of angles, tried propping it, we managed to get part of the document in and now it is stuck and won't come out unless we rip it. Looks nicer than other products but it's unusable.

We used this for a certificate for a fire department that assisted in a safety video we wanted to show to all our safety employees. The certificate was made displaying their fire dept. truck along with the employees. The plaque made it look so stricking! It is exactly as shown in the picture and very well made.

Great Quality frame but...

We ship this frame to various locaions in the US. They are well made and are boxed individually so we don't get glass breakage because they are plexiglass. The ony drawback to this frame is that it is difficult to remove the certificate once it is inserted so we can add a blue ribbon and/or gold star to it.
