Here's what people are saying about this "Trainers Exclusive":

"... I just wanted to write and tell you -- what an AWESOME, well-made, easy to use product. I will use this with my students and during training sessions with the staff. I love the storage bag that came with it has a home for everything. This was a well-thought-out product and I can't wait to put it to use!" --Ryan from Hampstead Central School

"For 10 years, we have been playing a Jeopardy-style game as a review for one of our classes, and it has always been a challenge (and sometimes a source of great controversy) to figure out which team was first to answer the question. We've tried raising hands and other types of buzzers, but the teams that weren't chosen frequently argued that the judge just didn't see them, or that their buzzer sounded a split second before the other team's. It was stressful for the instructors who were leading the activity and distracted the students from the review as they got all wound up about whether the other team was unfairly getting more chances to answer questions. This takes all the subjectivity out of it. The flashing light is up there for everybody to see. It's just what we needed to get the focus off the process and onto the content. Makes the instructors happier too, since they don't have to make any more controversial judgment calls." --WV Catherder from Harpers Ferry

STAND-ALONE BUZZER: If you don't have time for a long Jeopardy-like game, you can also put together a quick 5-10 question quiz and keep score the old -fashioned way, on a chalk board or whiteboard.

SOFTWARE INTERFACE: If you want to check the software interface, plug in the USB cable from the light tower to your computer. Then open any sort of word document. When you tap one of the colored buttons, you should see it type a number 1-2-3-4-5-6. If no number appears, we might have a connectivity issue.

BATTERY CHECK: Be sure to test your buzzer before any event. If the unit is not working, it's always good to check the power and/or the batteries in the touch pads.

Game Changer for in-office team building events! Very pleased with this purchase!

Great product, and definitely needed by large group parties. It is pricy, so it's definitely an investment. But why is the bottom colour so close to red? You could have made it White, Clear, or even Turquoise and made the blue a darker indigo. Just a suggestion

This is what we have been looking for.

We have been looking for a signaling device when our families get today during the holidays. This year we are planning TEAM HOTTLE JEOPARDY.

I would buy this product again

Disappointed that we purchased the additional buzzers, and having the 12 buzzers vs. the 6 was a huge reason and why we chose this product in the first place. That being said, the additional 6 buzzers, do not allow the product to differentiate between same color buzzers. Disappointed in the product for that reason only. Otherwise the product made our "game show" a huge hit at our training session! Participants really enjoyed having the technology!

Great buy and simple to use!

I use this product for team building games that have inspired group participation that otherwise would not have happened. It takes those who would be hesitant to answer and encourages them to participate.

Excellent Customer Service

Well made. Even the tote bag demonstrated your attention to detail. I like dealing with a company that puts the customer first. You exceeded my expectations.

Have brought this product many times

I occasionally have a problem with it interfering with other wireless systems; it doesn't work in some venues. But otherwise, it's very good. I wouldn't mind if it were customizable, e.g., I could add my own logo.

Love the New Design

I ordered the original Who's First many years ago and though I enjoyed it then as a learning reinforcement tool, I did have a concern about the wires that could become unwieldy over time. This new unit has done away with that concern and I am ever so grateful. I do wonder why the instructions in the unit says that the "solid" light is the 1st to strike and the website says it is the "blinking" light. Minor concern, but a little confusing as to which is correct. I guess you can make it whatever you want, but I would like to know which is correct. Thanks for the new design and the wonderful carrying case. I will keep my eye out for any new designs in the near future.

Wish we'd found this years ago

For 10 years we have been playing a Jeopardy-style game as a review for one of our classes, and it has always been a challenge (and sometimes source of great controversy) to figure out which team was first to answer the question. Makes the instructors happier too, since they don't have to make any more controversial judgement calls.

Works Perfect!

I used this to play a review game at the end of training sessions and everyone loved it thought it was a fun addition to the training. It works exactly as expected. No complaints!

The best!

We used the buzzers for our company Christmas party and had a blast with it. This is the best buzzer system out there.

Worth Every Penny

LOVED this system and it worked well with our "Bible Quiz Bowl." The only thing we disliked is that we had 3 teams competing, and the buzzer system only showed the first and second teams to buzz in. It did not show if the third team buzzed. HOWEVER, this was the only limitation of the system. Clearly, the adults has just as much fun using the system as the kids!

Convenient and easy to use

Product is great to use for trainings to encourage participation. Also, it allows the person who buzzes in second to be recognized as well, incase the first person misses the question. Seriously reduces the amount of arguing over who rang in to answer the question first!

Loved it but now not working!

Used successfully about a year, now it's not consistently working. Have changed batteries, a few of the buttons worked after that for about half my class. Even when change batteries again, not consistent. Really upset- people loved them but I am not comfortable using them since they are more frustrating when they stop. Participants get upset too.

Will use it on my birthday celebration

Will use it December 31, 2013 which is my birthday celebration. Can't wait to see how effective it will be. Didn't want to select the above unoriginal but the survey would not allow me to move forward without filling in that area.

Perfect for Team dynamic exercises

Great device to make learning fun!

We used this for our sales training meeting as part of a quiz game. It was sturdy and very easy to use. The buzz-in buttons had a good range too, which worked well for a large room with teams as far as 40ft away. My only recommendation would be to design a way for it to indicate the third and fourth person to buzz in (it only indicates the first two.) Overall a good purchase!

Great tool with with any group

When I conduct multi-day professional development events with faculty who are working together in teams, this a great way to encourage team cohesiveness and provides me a way to check for understanding in a fun and competitive environment. Very easy to use.

To the rescue!

I used it as a skill reinforcer to get scholars ready for Common Core Assessments. I found it easy to set up and offered equal opportunities for scholars to participate. It also eliminated any form of biases as scholars where identified by the buzz or 'flashing light'.

Fun!

I purchased this specifically for our company Christmas parties and it was a big hit. I foresee other uses for it as well, particularly in the area of training.

Not as glamorous as expected.

The product looks fun and can be fun if it worked properly. I tested the product before our meeting just to check if it worked, which it did. In our meeting we played a game and used the buttons. Within 5 minutes half of the buttons did not work including the reset button. So we had to keep turning it off and on before answering questions. I would not advise anyone to buy this product.

Cool!

We'll be using it in upcoming sales training sessions with B2B sales profesisonals. I developed a PPT-based Jeopardy game and the device will add a cool dimension to it. There is a Reset button as one of the answer buttons as well as an additional reset on the back of the unit. Colors are cool. Carrying case is very nice. Everything worked out of the box.

Colleagues keep borrowing this from me

I teach a monthly all-day course to employees at our hospital and this has really made the day livelier, more interactive and has helped reinforce learning beyond just listening to lecture. I leave blanks in the printed slides I provide them and encourage them to fill in the blanks as we go to prepare for the quiz at the end of each section (for which they can win "fabulous sugary prizes" in the form of candy). Managers and educators who have experienced it as a student in my class have turned around and asked to borrow it for their own trainings. At first I swallowed hard over the price, but it has been a great investment. My only problem has been that after 2 years of monthly use, one of the buzzers has died and I need to figure out how to replace a single part.

WOW, this was a hit!!!

I let the students write the questions for others to answer. A true retention tool. PS - The students write harder questions than I do.

Very Good with One Problem

LOVE this buzzer system. My only complaint is how often we have to trade out the batteries. It's not a major issue, but I thought they would last at little longer.
