I would recommend this for a classroom!
At first my students in grade 4-5 said they couldn't hear the chime, so I took out a service bell. They quickly decided they liked the chime better. I especially enjoy the single tone it makes--soft but present.

This chime really works
I've been wanting a training tool to get the attention of my audience. I like to design sessions with a lot of interactivity and breakout discussion. But once learners get talking with each other, it's hard to get their attention back to me. This chime works perfectly. It's subtle and musical, but persistent.
